Factory Built Fiesta Bantam Pickup
2007 Ford Fiesta Bantam Pickup. South African factory built pick up truck. Very rare little truck over here with only a handful in the country. This one is fully Uk registered with V5 here in my name. It starts runs and drives and is currently MOTD, however it was a work truck so there is a bit room for improvement. We do have a full 2000 Fiesta here for any parts that anybody wants to take with it.
Bodywork.
Very solid little truck with no signs of rot. Very good underneath. Generally quite straight along the sides. Tailgate will need a repair. Where it pivots there are circular holes which have elongated and it doesnt quite sit properly. The rear bed has been raptored or similar in black as it was a working vehicle.
Mechanics.
Ford Rocam 1.6 engine which im told can be found in later Ford Kas?. Im sure someone will be ready to pounce on me if im wrong on that one.. 5 speed box. Starts runs and drives. Engine sounds fine. Gearbox works as it should. Brakes are OK. Clutch bite point feels high so I think that will need replaced at some point in the future. Slight oil leak from it and will need a good service etc.
Interior.
Good door cards and seats. Headlining is ok. Carpet is a bit worn. Radio is not the original its one we got out the spares Fiesta so that will need wiring in properly..
Wheels.
14 inch Lattice Wheels similar to Cosworth but smaller with good tyres.
Our thoughts.
