Ford Cortina MK1 2 Door 1964 running a 1600 Crossflow with Twin 40s. This car was recently imported from South Africa. All tax and duty paid and NOVA registration done. We will complete all the Uk registration paperwork for the new owner.  Very solid car which starts runs and drives. Will need the carbs redone for our climate.

 

Body - Mk1 Cortina 2 Door shell. Original strut tops, inner wings, sills, arches, wings. Good straight car . Paintwork is very tidy. Minor bubbles on front of bonnet. Very solid underneath but has had  a couple of repairs over the years. Very tidy solid looking car. 

 

Mechanics - 1600 Crossflow with Twin 40s. 4 speed box, Steering rack conversion, escort front struts, disc and calipers, rear disc conversion. 4 branch manifold. Car starts runs and drives but will need carbs adjusted for our climate. Poly bushed, new shocks. Few quid spent on this one. Strut tops have been converted to take escort struts. The adaptor plates that have been made would be better welded on.

 

Interior - New gauges which all work. Custom centre console, Door cards have been retrimmed. upgraded front seats. New headlining. Very tidy inside

 

Wheels - 15 " Superlite style wheels with good tyres.
