1976 Ford Escort Mk2 1.3 2 Door . RHD Import from South Africa with all tax and duty paid. UK registration has been applied for so car will come with a UK V5. Its tax and MOT exempt being a 1976. Car starts runs and drives but will need a bit work fixing previous poor repairs

Body - MK2 Escort. Good original inner wings, struts tops, sills rear arches, pillars, rear floors and chassis rails. Has had previous repairs on front floors, lower bulkhead and both boot wells which are pretty poor. Would need redone to make it right. Will also need a repair at bottom the heater bubble. Paintwork is useable but definitely not show quality. Good doors, boot and bonnet.

Interior - Seats have been retrimmed. Not the worst but colour wont be everyones first choice. Door cards are OK. Dash top has been retrimmed. Good headlining.

Mechanics - Quite quiet little 1300 crossflow with standard 4 speed box. Clutch and brakes work. Carb will need adjusted for our Everything else is standard. Car will need a good checkover before being used in anger

Wheels - African sport steels which have been chromed. .

Overall this will make a decent project car as its quite original and not been attacked with a full cement mixer load of filler. Please feel free to come and see the car. We have a ramp so you can look underneath. Delivery can be arranged if required. Please ask for a quote
