1975 Ford Cortina 3.0 MK3 Pickup or Bakkie as they are known in South Africa. Genuine Ford factory built pick up and not a conversion. This is a RHD import from South Africa with all tax and duty paid. Nova declaration has been done and its fully UK registered

Body - Genuine factory built pickup. Good inner wings, doors, rear tub. Never been welded or botched up but will need some work as follows. Small repair on front of passenger side sill. Both the rear floors on cab will require small repairs. Both wings are dented but a good panel beater would squarer then up as they are the original wings. Paint is very worn as this was a working vehicle and would need redone. Lower front panel is a bit battered and bruised. Bulkhead on passenger side has had some fibreglass chucked at it. No doubt need arepair under that. Original heater box has been replaced by a smaller one for some reason.

Mechanics - 3.0 V6 Essex and 4 speed box. Starts runs and drives. Engine sounds decent. Gearbox, clutch and brakes all seem fine on a short test drive. Carb may need adjusted due to the different climate and vehicle will need a good checkover before being used in anger.

Interior - All there but a bit scruffy. Bench seat has been recovered at some point and door cards look a bit DIY

Wheels- Original steels with hubcaps and chrome trim rings.

Good basis for a project as its a fairly solid old thing , but a bit scruffy as it was a workhorse. Please feel free to come and see it. We have ramp so you can look underneath. Delivery can be arranged if required please ask for a quote
