1960 Morris Minor just imported from Sunny South Africa . Its RHD and all tax and duty has been paid. The NOVA declaration has been done and we will complete all the UK registration paperwork for the new owner. Its a very solid old car and structurally very original. There is room for a bit tidying up but its a great old shell which isnt patched to death

 

Body - 1960 Morris Minor - Looks all original underneath and very good. No signs of any nasty patches or old period repairs. Needs one 50p size repair on outer floor which we are happy to do for the new owner. Paintwork is OK and perfectly useable. If you wanted a show car youd need to paint it. If you wanted a nice useable one its fine. There are a few age related marks on it as you would expect

 

Mechanics - Car starts, runs and drives. Looks to have had a new carburettor fitted recently and plugs look new. The carb will need the choke connected as not much use for it in South Africa. The engine sounds fine. We have driven it round the industrial estate and the clutch and brakes feel oK. All running gear appears standard. This car was used prior ro export so its not been laid up for years.

 

Interior - Seats look to have been retrimmed and some point and door cards are a bit wacky. Really would benefit from a Uk style interior. Bakelite is off the steering wheel so the wheel will need replaced. 

 

Wheels - Standard steels which would look better silver or off white.

 

This car does need a bit work but its not rotten and doesnt need 1000s of pounds worth of welding to get it on the road. Please feel free to come and see the car. We have a ramp so you can look underneath. Delivery can be arranged if required. Please ask for a quote.
