Genuine 1275 GT needing decustomised.
Advertising for a customer this genuine 1275 GT which looks like it ram raided Halfords in the 80’s. It’s an ex-show car from a time gone by but still starts, runs and drives and is a genuine item. We have the V5 here and a couple of MOTs and receipts but not much to be honest.
Bodywork.
Looks solid underneath, but has had previous repairs and also boot floor has previously been repaired. Let’s talk about the elephant in the room… the bodykit… this one probably all the rage once upon a time but these days really it all wants put back to standard. Both the wing lips and arch lips have been cut back to accomodate the bodykit. Paintwork is showing its age but I daresay with a good buff it would be useable as it is. You never know someone might be feeling nostalgic and want to use it in its current form.
Mechanics.
1275 GT engine which starts, runs and drives. Engine sounds good and is quiet. Brakes and clutch are good. Not been used in ager for a few years so would need a good checkover and a bit of a recommission mechanically.
Interior.
More modern Rover Mini seats, custom Union Jack door cards. All very tidy but might not been everyones cup of tea. Good dash and carpet.
Wheels.
13 inch Suoerlites with gold centres and good Nangkang tyres.
