Been used for Light Competition Use
Advertising for a customer this little Mg Midget which our customer bought and used in Production Car trials and occassional hillclimb events. It starts runs and drives but hasnt really been used properly for a few years and will need a recommission before being pressed back into service. We have the V5 but as its a competition car it has a push button start and no keys.
Bodywork.
Solid looking car underneath. Bonnet and front wings are fibreglass and paint has went dull. Rest of the car is ok but has various marks and minor scuffs on it. Can be used as it is with no problem but if you wanted to take it to the next level then your into paintwork.
Mechanics.
1275cc engine with twin carbs. Im told its a good bit quicker than standard but dont have the spec on the engine. As mentioned it will need a going through mechanically as it has been stood for a while.
Interior.
Standard seats but with harnesses fitted rather than seat belts. No carpet in it as used for competing. Door cards are ok. Rood is ok but windows are a bit opaque.
Wheels.
6 wheels with the car. 4 x Good Toyo tyres and 2 winter spec tyres.
Our thoughts.
This is a good little project for someone or ideal if someone wants to do a bit light competition. You are welcome to come and see the car and we have a ramp so you can look underneath.
