Bodywork.
1980 Ford Escort RS2000 Custom. This car has recently had a small fortune spent on it and is a really tidy solid example. We have the V5 here showing 11 previous owners and some receipts for money spent. This car was owned by the same person from 2005 till about 2022. During the latter part of his ownership the car was sent to GS Classic Fords for a mechanical recommission and was put back on the road. The car was then sold by us on the owners behalf and the owner decided to repaint it and redo the interior as well. This car has a glass sunroof fitted.
Mechanics.
Car starts runs and drives very well. Engine is very healthy and runs well. It’s not the original but the original engine will come with it. Original 4 speed box. Brakes and clutch all good. All gauges work on dash.
Interior.
Recently retrimmed seats which are nice and firm. Good door cards, carpets and headlining. Original centre console, clock and pod. Really tidy inside.
Wheels.
Genuine 7 inch Ronals which are in very good condition with good Yokohama A539 tyres.
Our thoughts.
