Never Been Welded – Very Solid Original Car
Ford Escort Mk2 4 Door 1.3L. Very original solid little car which has been imported from South Africa. We have paid all the import duty and the NOVA declaration has been done. The UK registration has also been applied for which will be here soon. Once that arrives we will fit the UK plates. We have the original handbooks and service book for the car
Bodywork.
Very solid little car. All original underneath including boot wells, floors, sills, arches and so on. Needs no structural work. Paintwork is fine , but has had a few minor dings and scratches. There is a bot of an ouch on the front of the driver side wing, but if someone wants to pay the asking price or close we will get that repaired.
Mechanics.
Car starts runs and drives well. The engine is very quiet and doesnt smoke. Gearbox, clutch and brakes are all good. This car drives very tight and definitely hasnt been in a million bits and clobbered back together like some. Original spare tyre and tool kit in the boot
Interior.
All original and in good order. No rips or tears in seats. good dash top, door cards, headlining and carpet. Lovely original condition inside
Wheels.
Standard steels with chrome trim rims. Tyres are OK but not sure how old.
Our thoughts.
