Well they are crawling out the woodwork this week for sure......

 

1979 Opel Kadett Special. Ex Max Power style show car last on the road in 1997 and been dry stored since. This car won shows back in the day and has a couple of trophies with it. Nowadays the styling is probably went out of fashion but remove that and you have a cracking two door shell with a 2.0 Manta engine, gearbox and back axle. Good reg no FHS 9T

 

Body - Opel Kadett 2 Door Saloon. Very solid looking original shell. Only ever appears to have had a couple of repairs on inner sills at the rear. Sideskirts, custom bumpers and bodykit fitted including bonnet. All easily removed if required. paintwork is actually very very good considering it was done 25 years ago at least.

 

Interior - Manta or similar style front recaros. No carpet. Rear seats removed and some hideous sound box, woofer tweeter thingy in there. 

 

Mechanics - 2.0 Manta engine, box and rear axle. Car starts runs and drives. Engine sounds decent. Will obviously need a service as a minimum with being stored for so long. Brakes and clutch work. Will obviously need checked over from front to back due to being in storage.

 

Wheels - TSW style alloys. Tyres are 25 plus years old so would need replaced.

 

This is quite a rare old car and the shell is rock solid. If you can see past the 90s bling then theres a decent starting point under there. Please fel free to come and see the car. we have a ramp so you can look underneath. Delivery can be arranged if required. Please ask for a quote
