Ford Sierra XR8 V8 No 179 This is a genuine Ford factory built car. These were homologated for racing in South Africa and only 250 were ever made. This is a genuine car and with the other one we have probably the only two for sale North of the equator at the moment. The car was on the road prior to export and starts runs and drives. Sounds awesome. There is room for a bit tidying up but its a genuine example and super rare. This will need UK registered but we will assist the new owner with all the paperwork right through until the new registration is received. Car shows 108000 kms which is around 65k miles. This one has had the engine uprated and is running around 300BHP

Body - Sierra XR8 with the all important build plate under the drivers side headlight which states Sierra XR8 5000. Very solid car underneath with original floors, sills, arches, boot floor. All panels are solid. Really strong shell. Paintwork is Ok but there is a few rub throughs and a few age related marks here and there. With a good polish its useable but would really want a paint to make it mint.

Mechanics - 302ci engine. Engine is the correct type and the original one with the RY engine code and corresponding build no 179. T5 factory fitted gearbox. These cars have uprated AP brakes, uprated diff and suspension. This car sounds superb and goes really well. The engine has been uprated on this one. We dont have the full spec but its much quicker than the other standard one we have here.

Interior - Original seats and which are in good order. Good dashtop with no cracks. Correct XR8 steering wheel and instruments. Windscreen has a small crack but we will get a replacement fitted if someone wants to buy it.

Wheels - Orignial XR8 alloys with good tyres.
