Ford Escort XR3 4 Speed carb model. RHD import from South Africa with all tax and duty paid. NOVA declaration done. UK registration has been applied for and the car has been inspected so we expect to have the Uk reg within 10 days. Very solid old car which. with a bit tlc could be a really nice one.

Body - Early MK3 Escort shell with two bolt strut tops and short rear roof gutters. Original inner wings, floors, cross member, boot floor. Very solid old car. Has had a battery tray repair in the past which is not the best. If someone wants to pay the asking price we will put a new battery tray in properly. Paintwork is perfectly useable but if you wanted a show car it would need redone. Being an African built car it has the spats front and rear on the arch lips. Few minor scratches and scuffs but nothing major. Bit of bubbling on bottom of one door but overall a very strong original shell.

Interior - Red strobe style seats in good condition. Good door cards but door bins damaged. Good carpet and headlining. Dashboard looks like its been repaired at some stage, Its presentable and usable but doesnt look 100 percent correct

Mechanics - Good quiet 1600 cvh and 4 speed box. Starts runs and drives and was still in use prior to export. As with any old car will need a good checkover before use.

Wheels - Refurbished Cloverleafs with new 185 60 14 tyres. Spare is the African style steel.
