Ford Escort MK3 1600 Sport. This is a genuine ford built car from South Africa. Its very similar to an XR3 but has different interior spec but a very similar drivetrain. All tax and duty has been paid and the NOVA declaration done. We will MOT it for the new owner and complete all the UK registration paperwork. 

 

Body - Early style MK3 Escort shell with the two bolt strut tops. Solid shell. No signs of ever being welded or needing any. Very straight and looks like mostly original paint. No signs of rust on it at all.. Paintwork is nice and tidy. There are a few minor marks as you would expect on a car of this age but nothing major.

 

Mechanics - 1600 CVH carb engine and 5 speed box. Engine is very quiet and has only done 103000 kms or just over 60,000 miles. Car starts runs and drives as it should and will come  with a years MOT

 

Interior - Original South African "Sport" interior . Seats are good, dash has no cracks, good door cards carpet and headling. Dash and steering wheel are same as XR3. Very tidy original cvar inside.

 

Wheels - Originally had steels from the factory but we added a set of refurbished cloverleaf XR3 alloys with split new tyres.
