Ford Escort Mk2 1.3, RHD Import from South Africa with all tax and duty paid. Nova declaration has been done and we will help you register it if required. Very solid old car which has not been botched or plastered with plop. It does need a bit love but its a good original starting point and not a tarted up rotbox. 

 

Body - Standard Escort MK2 shell. Never previously been welded.Good original inner wings, sills, arches, spare wheel well. Floors never previously been welded. Will need small repairs on front floor, reapir on rear floor either side between chassis rail and sill, battery tray and small repair behind it. Rear quarter has previously been dented and looks like its been beaten out with a golf shoe!! That needs fixing as well. Paint is obviously well past its sell by date. Lower front panel will need replaced as well.

 

Mechanics - All standard. Good 1.3  crossflow, 4 speed box. Starts runs and drives but im guessing most of this will get ripped out or replaced so theres no point me waffling on any longer....

 

interior - 50 shades of....brown. Good front door cards and headlining. Needs a dashtop and im guessing whoever buys it will replace the "burn your butt" vinyl seats.

 

As as car this is a scruffy old spud but it has loads of potential as its not previously been got at by Fibreglass Phil or the cataloy king of cape town. Please feel free to come and see it. We can put it up on the ramp, supply you with tea, a magnet and a torch. We are Scottish and a bit tight so dont expect biscuits......
