1980 Ford Escort Mk2 1.6 Manual. RHD import from South Africa with all tax and duty paid. Nova declaration done and we will complete all the paperwork for the new owner for UK registration. Fairly solid original old car which just needs a bit of cosmetic TLC.

Body - 4 Door MK2 Escort shell. Original inner wings, strut tops, sills, rear arches, doorposts. Floors have never been welded. Looks like its had a repair in spare wheel and thats it. Structurally its really decent./ Bit of bubbling on bottoms of wings and both rear C posts. Bonnet is different colour and has had bonnet pins fittted at some stage. You could paint the bonnet and use it but if you wanted it really nice it would be a full paint job.

Mechanics - 1600 crossflow which sounds decent. Standard 4 speed box. Brakes and clutch are ok. Starts runs and drives and was on the road prior to export. Given the age of the car we recommend a full checkover before being used in anger.Exhaust looks a bit DIY.

Interior - Good dash top, door cards, seats are fine. Perfectly useable with a good clean up but you might want to upgrade to something a bit better.

Wheels - Standard steels with good tyres.
