1980 Ford Escort MK2 Project Car. This looks to me like it started life as a sport shell and had the nosecone etc added. Its a very solid shell. Their is a 2.0 engine and box with it and running gear but no interior at all. All import tax and duty has been paid and the Nova declaration done. We can assist you with the paper for the UK registration, but it will need to be more of a finished article before the DVLA will register it.

Body - Export spec 2 door shell with extra strengthening similar to Rs models. this one also has the chassis skids, tramp bar brackets, which have been added and not factory fitted. it also has the speedo cable bracket and cut out in the dash , which again looks to have been done later but a decent job. The shell its eld is very good underneath. Floors look fairly original. no nasty patches and all painted body colour. Gearstick hole has been moved back to accomodate the RS set up. Its had a couple of repairs up under the heater bubble at some stage which are functional rather than beautiful. Now the front end.......Nosecone is alloy so i presume some sort of aftermarket situation. To be fair i couldnt tell till i gave it a knock and realised it wasnt original. The bonnet has been made!!! yes I did say that and Im not still on the christmas sherry. It fits well in the aperture but weighs about two tonne and would take your fingers off if you dropped it. Id replace that if you were keeping it as a nosecone shell. Paint is decent and perfectly tidy. Underbonnet area is very straight and original. Boot area is all painted and again its ok. Evidence of minor repairs on the bottoms of quarters but not back and bottom of one door and one sill step. It will need a bit work but overall good and solid.

Mechanics - 2.0 Engine and 4 speed box underbonnet. Engine has literally just been bolted together for ease of transport and will need stripped and rebuilt. Rs manifold on it, twin choke weber on it as well. looks like an african sport rear axle and suspension.

Interior - None.

Wheels - Deep dish steels. Tyres would need replaced
