Ford Escort Mk2 1.6 GL 4 Door Automatic, 83000miles, will come with 1 Years Mot. This car is a solid well maintained little car which was driven from the Isle of Man to Scotland with no dramas. It will be put back on its UK plate XJC 154V and will come with 1 years MOT. We originally imported this car about three years ago and sold it to a gentleman who has used it almost daily but upgraded and maintained it as he went. Its had fortunes spent on it and is a really tidy example.
Body - Very solid unwelded shell. Looks like original wings, sills, arches etc etc. Pretty much good everywhere. Very slight bubbles on lower arches and door bottom but minor andnot bad at all. Paintwork is nice and car is very tidy. Bumpers are nice and straight, chromework is good. Being an Auto it has the bigger tunnel so ideal for engine swaps or 5 speed conversion.
Interior - Mint Ghia interior, seats are immaculate as is dash top, door cards, parcel shelf and carpet.. Very clean and tidy inside. Blaupunkt radio, Sport dash fitted and everything works. Mint centre console with working clock.
Mechanics - Really good quiet 1.6 crossflow. Auto box works as it should. Brakes are good. Really good tight driving car which has had lots of new parts fitted as follows:
