Ford Escort MK1 1300 XL fitted with a 1600 Crossflow on twin 40s. This car starts runs and drives and looks to have had a fair bit spent on it over the last few years. Being an XL model it would have had the 6 dial dash from new.  This is a UK Car and not an Import. 

 

Body - 1300 XL 2 Door shell. Car is solid underneath. Its had repairs on front floors and wing rails at some point in its life. These are not concourse standard by any means but solid and strong. RS wings have also been fitted. Looks to have had rear arches in the past. Paintwork is fairly tidy. Few minor marks here and there. Car looks really well but if look really closely you will see minor paint flaws. Scratch on osf arch. Mexico badges fitted. Quarter bumpers

 

Mechanics - 1600 Crossflow on twin 40s. Not sure on engine spec but it pulls fairly well. 4 Speed box, Carbs will need a bit of tune up / rolling road session. It does run ok and can be used but a wee bit of a flatspot when cold. Spax adjustable rear shocks,. newish front struts, genuine ford rear exhaust box, burton rocker cover, brake pipes look to have been renewed when car was built / restored. 

 

Interior - 6 dial 110 mph dash which all works . Deep dish steering wheel. Mexico / Gt seats which are in very good order. Black headcloth, good door cards, carpets and dash top.

 

Wheels - Deep dish steels with good 185 60 13 tyres.
