Ford Escort Mk1 2 Door. This car was imported in 2020 from Cyprus im told and since than has had a full mechanical overhaul at a classic car specialist in the South of England. It starts runs and drives very well. We have the V5 here

 

Bodyshell - Standard MK1 Escort 2 Door  with bubble arches fitted. Shell is solid but has had a few period repairs underneath with flat plate rather than than proper panels. It looks like a car that was done some time ago prior to parts being readily available. The tubbing under the arches is again solid but maybe not to the standard you would do it today. Paintwork is nice and tidy. New front and rear bumpers and brackets. 

 

Mechanics - 2.0 Pinto , 5 speed box. The following new parts were recently fitted, Filter, Plugs, Calipers, Discs, Fuel Cap, Fuel Filler Neck, Bonnet Rubbers, Alloy Battery tray, chassis tube kit, carb, air filter, coil, refurbed steering rack, alternator, starter motor, springs, master cylinder, sump,  timing belt, rear main seal, gearbox oil seal, choke cable, brake pipes, servo, manifold, steering knuckle, wheel spacers and more. We have the receipt for all the work carried out. 

 

Interior - 6 dial dash,  classic bucket seats, suede springalex style steering wheel, good door cards, headlining. 

 

Wheels - Gold 15" Minilite style wheels with new 205/55/15 Uniroyal Rainsport tyres.

 

Very good driving car but had a few period repairs on shell as mentioned. Lots of money spent recently. Please feel free to come and see the car . We have a ramp so you can look underneath. Delivery can be arranged if required. Please ask for a quote.
