Ford Escort Mk1 1300. RHD Import from South Africa. All tax and duty paid and NOVA declaration done. We will complete all the UK registration paperwork for the new owner. This car is complete and fairly solid but really needs ripped to bits and done to a better standard.

 

Body - MK1 Escort Shell. Original strut tops, inner wings, good sills, door pillars, rear arches, boot floor. Needs minor work on both front floors, boot wells look to have been repaired before. solid enough but not restoration quality repairs. Chassis rails are good.  Paintwork is average. Looks better in the pics than it actually is. Panel gaps are ok at the front but boot lid fit is poor. Rear panel looks like its been filled and will need investigating. You could use the car as it is but really wants done to a better standard. 

 

Mechanics - 1300 crossflow 4 speed box. Standard suspension and brakes. Not had a chance to get it turning yet but can do so if required. we just thought that nobody will leave the 1300 in it for very long.

 

Interior - Retrimmed vinyl seats. Door cards are scruffy. No major rips or tears. Perfectly useable but seats are a bit funky looking.

 

Wheels - Minlite style wheels.
