Ford Escort Cabriolet fitted with 1.8 Zetec from a RS1800 Fiesta on Twin 40 Webers. Very solid old car which goes very well. The engine has just been rebuilt at a cost of around £1300. We have the V5 here and will put a years MOT on it for the new owner.

 

Body - Good strong shell. No signs of welding underneath. Good inner wings, battery tray, sills, arches, doors. Paintwork is tidy enough. Its not a concourse show winner but perfectly presentable, debadged grille,

 

Mechanics - Engine just been rebuilt  with new rings, bearings, twin 40s, Nodiz management, 150 bhp  polybushed all round, s2 brakes, 40 mm lowered, full ashley exhaust, all brackets and suspension powdercoated, fuel cut off switch, new clutch, skimmed flywheel, new mounts,

 

Interior - Fiesta turbo seats front and rear, new starter,  Few cracks on top of the dashboard is the only bad bit on the car. 

 

Wheels - 7 x16" steels with good tyres
