1987 Ford Escort 1600 Bantam Pickup. RHD Import from South Africa with all tax and duty paid. NOVA declaration has been done. We will complete all the UK registration paperwork for the new owner. Decent example which doesnt look like its been worked too hard

 

Body - Genuine Ford built Escort Bantam pickup. This one is pretty solid from front to back. Its never been welded . Will need two minor repairs underneath which we are happy to do.  Paintwork is showing its age a little as it was a working vehicle. Perfectly useable as it is but if you wanted a show car it would need a paint.

 

Mechanics - 1600 CVH carburettor engine. Starts runs and drives as it should. Good brakes, clutch, 5 Speed gearbox. 

 

Interior - Original bench seat in good order. Would benefit from a scrub up but no nasty rips or tears

 

Wheels - Original steels with average tyres

 

These little trucks are very rare as they were only built for the South African market. Its very difficult to find them in decent order. Please feel free to come and see the truck. We have a ramp so you can look underneath. Delivery can be arranged if required please ask for a quote.
