1981 Ford Escort 1600 Sport in need of restoration. RHD Import from South Africa which is fully UK registered and we have the V5 here. This car is fairly complete but will need a restoration. It is a genuine sport but currently is a bit rough but has potential as a cheap starting point.

Body - Mk2 Escort Sport shell which has similar strengthening to our RS models. Will need repairs on outer floors from chassis rails to sill, will probably need sills as well and repairs in boot wells, as a minimum. These look solid but have been botched. There will be other bits no doubt once you start poking. Paint is average at best. Has the correct front spoiler and quarter bumpers. This is the kind of project you really need to view before you buy as it looks better in the pics than real life

Mechanics - All complete but completely untested. No radiator in the car and will need some wiring sorted to get engine to fire. 1600 crosflow with 4 speed box. 9" rear brakes.

Interior - All their but a bit of a dogs dinner. Looks like stig of the dump has been living in it.

Wheels - Mish mash of nasty old rubbish and tyres are even worse.
