Ford Escort Mk2 1600 Sport. RHD import from South Africa with all tax and duty paid. Nova declaration has been done and we will complete all the UK registration paperwork in the new owners name. This car starts runs and drives but will need a bit work to make it roadworthy / presentable.

Body - Export spec 1600 Sport shell with extra strengthening similar to our RS models. Good original inner wings, strut tops, rear arches. Has had repairs on front floors, boot wells which would both need redone to a better standard. Looks like its had a passenger side front wing fitted and its sitting too high at the front. Paintwork looks decent and is perfectly useable.

Mechanics - 1600 crossflow with 4 speed box. Starts runs and drives. Will need checked over from front to back before being used as it looks like it was thrown together.

Interior - Proper sport interior but its a bit scruffy. Seats are a bit saggy / baggy, dash top been retrimmed as has the steering wheel. Door cards screwed on.

Wheels - Standard deep dish African sport steels with 175/70/13 tyres.

Not the worst starting point but will need a bit sorting out to get it up to scratch. . Please feel free to come and see the car. We have a ramp so you can look underneath. Delivery can be arranged if required. please ask for a quote
