Ford Escort Mk2 1600 Sport. Fully UK registered. This car was imported from South Africa some time ago. This one is a very solid car which appears to have had a fair bit money spent on it fairly recently

 

Body - Export spec 1600 Sport shell with extra strengthening similar to our RS models. Good original inner wings, strut tops, sills, arches, floors, boot wells. Has all been painted body colour underneath. No signs of any nasty patches. Looks a very very good shell. Paintwork is very nice. Panel gaps are all good. Really good looking old car. Mexico front spoiler, rubber boot spoiler. 2 up 2 down spotlights.

 

Mechanics - Good 1600 crossflow with twin 40s fitted. Starts runs and drives. Runs smooth enough but feel it should be a bitquicker with the 40s on it. 5 speed box fitted. Poly bushing on front. New TCAS, recent shocks, exhaust looks new. Everything looks like its been cleaned and painted. 

 

Interior - Seats have been retrimmed. Tidy enough job but not original. Good door cards, carpet and headlining. Original sport steering wheel

 

Wheels - Brand new JBW 7x13 RS replicas with new Yokohama tyres
