Ford Escort Mk2 1600 Sport. RHD import from South Africa with all tax and duty paid. Nova declaration has been done and we will complete all the Uk registration paperwork in the new owners name. This one is a very solid original shell only needing a few repairs . Its had a 3.;0 V6 Fitted

 

Body - Export spec 1600 Sport shell with extra strengthening similar to our RS models. Good original inner wings, strut tops, sills, arches, boot wells, quarters.  Needs repairs on front floors otherwise a decent quite original looking shell..Paintwork is a bit worn. Perfectly useable as it is but if you want a real tidy one it would need a paint.

 

Mechanics - 3.0 V6 fitted with 3.0 manual gearbox. Car starts runs and drives but really needs ripped to bits and the V6 binned. Engine is a bit rattly at the top end. . Standard Sport suspension

 

Interior - Original sport seats. Original brown uncut door cards. Dash top needs replaced. Steering wheel looks like someones been chewing on it.

 

Wheels - Standard deep dish african sport steels with 185/60/13 tyres. 

 

As a car its a bit of a dungbeetle but as a shell / viable project its a decent starting point. Please feel free to come and see the car. We have a ramp so you can look underneath. Delivery can be arranged if required. please ask for a quote
