Ford Escort Mk1 1300E in need of restoration. Been in storage with current owner for around 20 years. 3 previous owners. Car is very original and is complete. It was last on the road in 2001. It does need work but is by no means a basket case as floors and chassis rails are very good. We have the keys and should have the V5 with us shortly. 

 

Body - 4 Door 1300E - Good floors, chassis rails, boot floor. pillars. Will neeed work on inner wing top, front wings, boot wells and rear arches. In the main the floor looks decent but further inspection may reveal more.Vinyl roof will need redone as has a tear. Bumpers will need rechromed. Still has its original spotlights. Paintwork is obviously well past its sell by date and will need redone as part of the restoration process.

 

Mechanics - All standard and correct for year. We have not tried to start the car but the engine is not seized. Everything else is untested .

 

Interior - All original seats, doorcards and 6 dial cash all in good order. Interior has no rips or tears and just needs a bit of a clean then it can be re-used. Period Harry Moss radio. 

 

Wheels - Original steels with chrome trims. Will all need refurbished

 

These cars are getting rarer with maybe only a couple of hundred left with half that on the road. Please feel free to come and see the car. We have a ramp so you can look underneath. Delivery can be arranged if required please ask for a quote.
