Genuine South African built Ford Cortina XR6. The XR6 was a factory built for the South African market with the 3.0 V6 Essex engine, rear louvre, five link rear axle set up, front and rear spoilers and upgraded front seats and interior. Car is showing 10200 kms which ius about 65000 Miles. It starts runs and drives but will need a bit work to bring it up to scratch.
All tax and import duty has been paid and the NOVA declaration has been done.

Body - Good Inner wings, pillars, sills, arches. Doesnt look like its ever been welded or patched but will need a bit work as follows. Repair needed in spare wheel well. Both front floors need small repairs. Chassis rails are a bit dented froim jacking up on them. Paintwork is Ok and perfectly useable but if you wanted a show car youd need to paint it. Bit of bubbling at bottom of screen pillar on driver side

Mechanics - Very quiet 3.0 Essex engine and 4 speed box. Car starts runs and drives and was in use prior to export. Brakes and clutch feel OK. It will need a good checkover prior to use. All mechanics are standard xr6 which includes bigger brakes than uk cortinas and a 5 link rear axle

Interior - XR6 front seats which are very similar to rolltop recaros. These have been retrimmed. They would normally be a cloth material. Doorcards have speaker holes

This is a very rare car with only a handful in the UK.
