Ford Cortina 1.6 Pickup. This is factory built vehicle in South Africa This truck has never been welded and in the main is very dry and solid but will need some repairs. Quite scruffy as it was a work truck. Was still in use prior to export

Body - Genuine Ford built pickup or bakkie as they are known in South Africa. Never been welded. Good original inner wings, sills, body sides, tailgate, doors, bonnet. Will need repairs on rear floor of cab both sides which is common as its the lowest point and water collects there. Will also need repairs on both front floors. Pickup body is solid. Paintwork is very scruffy but you can see its not hiding anything.. Its a scruufy looking truck but unrestored and not previously been got at or patched

Mechanics - Pickup starts runs and drives. Engine will need service and a tune up. Carb will need adjusted for our climate. It will need a good checkover as part of the restoration

Interior - All complete but pretty scruffy as it was a working truck. seats will need repaired / retrimmed

Wheels - Standard steels with average at best tyres
