1967 Ford Cortina Mk2 2 Door with 1.6 Crossflow and Twin 40s fitted . This was an Import from Finland and its completely solid.  Its been converted to right hand drive and we have the current Uk V5 here. The car has GT badges and dash but its just a standard model.

 

Body - Export spec shell with similar strengthening to UK GT and E models. Very solid from front to back. and a very very good shell. Inner wings, strut tops, sills, arches etc all look original and in very good order. . Bodywise this is about as solid as they come. Paintwork is pretty tidy and the car looks really good. There a small bit of rust underneath osr window and a bit of bubbling on ns where sill meets the quarter. Both are minor .

 

Mechanics - Good 1600 crossflow fitted with twin 40s. 5 Speed box. Quiet engine with no smoke or rattles. Runs fairly well but not been used for a while so would benefit from a basic service. The car has been converted to steering rack, has front coilovers fitted. Rear leaf springs are decambered. HPE exhaust manifold,  Escort adjustable track control arm, new flexis, Alloy Rocker Cover. this old car has had a small fortune spent on all the right bits. Its also been converted to alternator which again looks new. Stainless steel exhaust

 

Interior - Fairly tidy but glovebox door is missing. Good seats , door cards, headlining. There is a 1600e wood dash panel with the car as well,

 

Wheels - 15 inch minilte replicas with good tyres and RS centre caps. New owner can either have these or 13" similar ones or steels.
