Ford Cortina Mk1 2 Door fitted with 1600 crossflow. RHD Import from South Africa with all tax and duty paid. UK registration will be applied for. Car starts runs and drives and is a very solid old car. There will be some tinkering needing doing before putting it on the road.

Body - MK1 Cortina 2 Door pre airflow shell. Good original inner wings, strut tops, sills, arches, pillars and so on. Has had three repairs on floorpans which are solid but could be prettier. Up to the next owner if they want to leave it or redo it. Good bumpers and trim. Paintwork is perfectly presentable as it is with only a few minor marks. Overall a very solid old car which has survived due to the hot climate.

Mechanics - 1600 Crossflow fitted onto standard 4 speed box and running gear. Car starts runs and drives. Good brakes, clutch and gearbox. Choke flaps have been removed from the carb so this will need looking at as a bit of a flatspot when cold. Carb may need rejetting due to the different climate. We have driven the car round the industrial estate but would recommend a good checkover before a full send down the local B Road

Interior - Very tidy inside. Good headlining , door cards and seats. no rips or tears. Seats look to have been retrimmed at some point

Wheels - Exacton Alloys, similar to D1s as found on Avenger Tigers im told. Tyres are good.
