Ford Cortina Mk1 2 Door Project. This car is as good an unrestored bodyshell as you are likely to see these days. It really is solid.   I brought this car over from South Africa a few years ago and sold it . The customer used it briefly then stripped it to repaint it etc but a change of plans meant it was up for sale. More or less everything is with the car apart from the front seats. its not yet UK registered but we can assist you with that although i expect this shell will get used for a racecar build or reshell as its so good. 

 

Body - Pre airflow MK1 2 Door Cortina shell . 1964. Original inner wings, strut tops with number still visible, rear arches, sills, floors etc. Few minor dents underneath from jacking up etc but overall rock solid for a 55 year old. Paintwork is showing its age and will need redone for sure. All lights and windows are with the car. there is a grille, back bumper but no front bumper with it. All the door latches catches and handles are with the car. both doord will require a repair at the front corners

 

Mechanics - With the car is a 1500 pre crossflow, 4 speed box, radiator, front suspension which is now on it. These parts are all standard . 

 

Interior - With the car there are front and rear door cards, headlining still fitted, rear sets but no front seats

 

Very very solid original shell which only needs minimal work. Please feel free to come and see the car. happy to put it up on the ramp for inspection. delivery can be arranged if required. Please ask for a quote.
