1978 Ford Cortina 3.0S MK4. RHD Import from South Africa with all tax and duty paid. NOVA declaration has been done and now fully Uk registered  This is a fairly solid car which will need a bit restoration work. This is a genuine factory built 3.0S

 

Body -  Good Inner wings, rear floor is solid and original. Good pillars and scuttle. Will need repairs on front outer floors, front subrame mounts, both inner sills at rear,  spare wheel well, rear arches and the rear chassis where trailing arm bolts in.. Paintwork is ok and is perfectly useable. If you wanted it to look really tidy youd need to paint it. Rear lower panel looks to have a bit filler in it. Rear lower inner quarters are good. 

 

Mechanics - Factory fitted 3.0 Essex engine and 4 speed box. Starts runs and drives. Engine sounds OK. Clutch and brakes are both working. Uses granada front brakes which were factory fitted. It was being used prior to export but as with any old car will need a good checkover before being used in anger.

 

Interior - Seats have been recovered to try and match later african s style seats. No rips or tears but not very good.  Door cards also look aftermarket. Dashtop has a small crack on it. Headlining is good. Carpet has been replaced

 

Wheels - Standard deep dish steels
