1975 Ford Cortina 2.5 V6 Manual - Big Six. This is a RHD import from South AFrica which is very solid and doesnt appear to have ever been welded as it came from one of the driest parts of the country. All Import duty and tax has been paid and NOVA declaration done. UK registration has been applied for. The car starts runs and drives and was still in use prior to export. Its a very tidy example and the pics dont really do it justice as it was a dreary day when we took them.

Body - Mk3 Cortina shell which doesnt appear to have been welded. Very solid from front to back. Really original shell. Being a V6 it has the bigger bonnet bulge. Paintwork is really tidy. Panel gaps are good. Car looks better in the flesh than it does in the pictures. Its usually the other way round

Mechanics - Good 2.5 V6 Essex engine which starts first crack, is quiet with no nasty smoke or rattles. Original 4 speed box and running gear. Car drives very well and feels nice and tight. It pulls well and sounds good being the V6. Carb may need slight adjustment due to the different climate but it starts from cold no problem as it was minus 5 here last week.

Interior - Again all as it should be. Seats are in very good order. Not sure if they have been retrimmed or not but if they have its a cracking job. Good dash top, door cards, headlining. Car is very nice inside

Wheels - Standard steels with factory colour coded hubcaps. Not what we are used to seeing in the UK . Would look much nicer with a nice set of rostyles or similar
