Lovely old 66 Ford Corsair 1700 V4 Automatic. 86000 Miles from new and only 4 Owners. The last two owners are local to us and we have known the car for the last 5 years. It has had very little use but has had a few quid spent improving it in recent years. We have some old MOTs with the car and paperwork suggesting that it must have been in storage for a long time.  It was reregistered with its original number FRU 737D in 2010 as it had lapsed.

 

Body - 66 Corsair shell which looks very good. It looks mostly original. Floors are solid as are sills, arches, inner wings, doors, boot bonnet. There is no signs of welding on the floors. Its in quite remarkable condition for a 55 year old UK car. Paintwork is decent with a few minor marks here and there but nothing major. Car is perfectly presentable and useable as it is. 

 

Mechanics - Good 1700 V4 engine. Starts and runs no problem. Gearbox has had a new oil pan on it. Gearbox works as it should. Brakes are good. Car is now MOT exempt but was last Motd in 2018 and has done a total of 35 mile since. Its had a new exhaust as well fairly recently by the look of it.

 

Interior - All original and in very good order. No saggy seats or rips or tears. Really is very tidy inside

 

Wheels - Lotus steels with good tyres
