Ford Capri 2.0S., 1983 5 Speed. Running and driving car in need of light restoration. We have the V5 here showing 6 previous owners.

 

Body - Capri S. Good floors, sills, inner wings. Will need work on rear arches, fronts of wings, top of doorposts and lower quarters. Rear chassis near springhangers has previously been repaired. Paintwork is showing its age and would need redone as part of the restoration. Does need a bit love but by no means a basket case. 

 

Interior - Has been fitted at some point with a 2.8 grey interior which is in very good condition. No rips or tears, no cracks on dash, sunroof slides and tilts. Good door cards and carpet. Good replacement parcel shelf.

 

Mechanics - Starts first turn. Decent enough sounding engine. Will obviously require a service as a minimum. Good brakes, clutch and gearbox. Exhaust is blowing.Will need awful red silicone hoses replacing

 

Wheels - Standard S alloys which could do with a refurb.

 

Bit of a project but definitely not the worst starting point. Please feel free to come and see the car . We have a ramp so you can look underneath. If restrictions are in place we can send you as many pics / videos as you need
