Very Rare Datsun 260C Coupe. RHD Import from South Africa with all tax and duty paid and UK registration has been applied for, so will come fully Uk registered. Car is very solid underneath but will need a bit of a tidy up, specifically on the seats. Car starts runs and drives. This is an extremely rare model and can only be a handful in the UK.

 

Body - Datsun 2 door coupe. Very solid and original car underneath as spent all its life in Johannesburg. Looks like all original panels. solid floors, sills, arches, boot floor, inner wings and so on. Bit of rust bubbling on lower nsf wing which will need a repair. paintwork is ok but looks to be done a bit cheaply. Perfectly useable but no show pony.

 

Mechanics - Good original straight six engine which starts and runs no problem. Carb may need a bit adjustment due to the different climate but overall it runs well. Auto boxis fine. Brakes work but could do with a bleed or a look at as a bit spongy. Only one rear electric window appears to work. Cant get passenger front door to open so that will need looking at.

 

Interior - All original but seats will need retrimmed and carpet will need replaced. Door cards are ok. Crack on dashtop due to sun damage

 

Wheels - Aftermarket alloys with decent tyres. Original wheels are not available

 

This is a very rare and solid car that needs a tidy up. The only other one ive seen for sale was a finished article at 15k. Please feel free to come and see the car. We have a ramp so you can look underneath. Delivery can be arranged if required. Please ask for a quote.
