1978 Ford Cortina 1.6 L MK4. RHD Import from South Africa with all tax and duty paid. NOVA declaration has been done and we will complete all the UK registration paperwork for the new owner.  This is a fairly solid car which will need a few minor repairs

 

Body -  Good Inner wings, main floor is solid and original. Good pillars and scuttle. Needs a small repair on front where tie bar bolts through, will need repairs on both lower inner rear quarters where it meets outer. The end of the driver side sill looks to have been filled and needs repaired . The spare wheel well has a few small holes you can see from underneath which have been repaired with fibreglass so this will need sorting. Paintwork is nice and tidy and car looks well.

 

Mechanics - Good original 1600 crossflow which sounds good. Starts runs and drives well. All standard running gear. As with any old car will need a good checkover before using it in anger. Heater is not connected as seldom used in South Africa

 

Interior - All original interior. Driver seat has two splits and passenger side one small tear. Good door cards, headlining and dash top. Apart from the splits its fairly tidy inside. 

 

Wheels - Standard steels with good 175 70 13 tyres. Could do with a refurb.
