Ford Cortina 1600XL. This is a South African equivalent of a 1600E as they only had the GT and XL models. All tax and duty has been paid. It will need UK registered but we will help with that process. Solid old shell only need a few minor bits sorting out and comes with loads of 1600E spares from a car we broke a while back.

 

Body - 97 code shell which i believe is E or GT so it has the strengthened strut tops etc. Good original inner wings, strut tops, jacking points, doors, boot and bonnet, boot wells. Has had a previous repair on driver side front floor pan and chassis rail. These need doing better.Couple of other minor fixes needed but overall a very strong shell and generally way better than your average UK car thats seen 50 British winters. Paintwork is ok but im pretty sure whoever gets it will paint it a more appropriate colour.

 

Mechanics - An engine is sitting in the bay but we have no info or history on it. Gearbox is in the boot and we have another spare gearbox as well. The suspension all looks standard and will need refurbed / replaced.

 

Interior - Back seat is there. Front seats in car are from god knows what but we have a set of 1600E seats with all the spares. we also have a spare dash, wood, door cappings, roof lining and more

 

Wheels - Chrome horrible steel things but we have a set of half chrome rostyles that would need a tidy up. 

 

Whatever spares we have will all come with the car. There are bumpers. seats , wiring, wheels, dash, wood, another gearbox, badges and a lot more once we dig it all out.
