Ford Transit Mk2 1.6, Ex School bus with only 3 prev owners and 103000 miles. I drove this van 230 miles home without any problems. Heater was a bit poor but other than that no issues. Its absolutely solid an doriginal inderneath but will require the bodywork tidied up. Currently Motd till Aug 19 so it can be driven away. I have old v5s loads of old mots and receipts with the van.
Body - Transit Mk2 Minibus. Extremely solid and original underneath. Ex school bus but seats have been removed. Will need bodywork sorting out. Paint is dull and old, will need a repair under windscreen, rear arches have had a "period" repair and will need sorting out. Bit of rust on bottoms of rear doors.
Mechanics - 1.6 Pinto with weber carb and manual choke, original 4 speed box. Van looks to have been properly maintained in its lifetime and as mentioned drove 230 miles three days ago. Heater fan doesnt blow but otherwise everything seems to work.
Interior - Standard front seats. Couple of minor bits of wear but not too bad . All bus seats have been removed.
Wheels - standard with good tyres and original hubcaps.
Overall apart from the cosmetics its a very good solid running and driving project van. Ideal for a camper conversion or turn back into a van. Please feel free to come and see it. We have a ramp so you can look underneath. Delivery can be arranged if required. Please ask for a quote.
