Ford Taunus 20M 3000S. Factory V6 3.0 Engine and upgraded to a 5 speed manual. This is a RHD Import from South Africa with all tax and duty paid. The NOVA declaration has been done and we will completye all the paperwork to UK register it in the new owners name. Car starts runs and drives and was in regular use in SA

 

Body - 20M Taunus in RHD. Very solid car Good inner wings, floors, doors, boot floor , chassis. Looks all original underneath. Couple of dents in chassis rails from jacking up but other than that very good. Car was originally a darker green but at some point its been redone in the lighter metallic. It definitely stands out. Paint is nice and tidy. There are a few marks and minor scratches as you would expect. Couple of small bubbles at bottom of rear arch lips but not major. Car looks straight . Gave it a checkover with the trusty magnet and only sign of filler is a bit in bottom of passenger side wing. Other than that its good.

 

Mechanics - V6 Essex engine which starts and runs well. 5 speed box fitted, looks like a new propshaft. Car starts runs and drives. Brakes and clutch are ok. Would benefit from a good checkover from front to back as with any old car.

 

Interior - Good seats, door cards, carpet and headlining. Dash top has one crack on it. Kick panels look like they have been retrimmed and not a perfect fit.

 

Wheels - Super cool American Racing wheels with good tyres
