Ford Sierra XR8 V8. This is a genuine Ford factory built car. These were homologated for racing in South Africa and only 250 were ever made. This is a genuine car and is probably only one of two (we have it here also) for sale North of the equator at the moment. The car was on the road prior to export and starts runs and drives. Sounds awesome. There is room for a bit tidying up but its a genuine example and super rare. This will need UK registered but we will assist the new owner with all the paperwork right through until the new registration is received. Car shows 170000 kms which is around 108,000 miles. The car is number 216 and still has its original RY code engine

 

Body - Sierra XR8 with the all important build plate under the drivers side headlight which states Sierra XR8 5000. Very solid car underneath with original floors, sills, arches, boot floor. All panels are solid. No signs of any rust on the car. Really strong shell. Paintwork is Ok but there is a few age related marks here and there. With a good polish its useable but would really want a paint to make it mint. Bonet is non standard and has been made to accomodate the holley 4 barrel carb.

 

Mechanics - 302ci engine which is the original RY code engine. .T5 gearbox. These cars have uprated AP brakes, uprated diff and suspension. This car sounds superb and goes really well. 216 bhp as standard and bags of torque. This one also has an uprated intake mainfold and holley four barrel carb. Its a good bit quicker than standard and pulls like a train. 

 

Interior - Racing style front seats. Good rear seats and door cards. Good headlining. Dashtop is uncracked. 

 

Wheels - Original XR8 alloys with good tyres.
