Ford Granada MK1. Solid but in need of a good tidy up. RHD Import from South Africa with all tax and duty paid. NOVA declaration done. We will help with the UK registration paperwork. This car starts runs and drives and is a good solid shell. The interior is scruffy and two rear body trims are missing.

 

Body - MK1 Granada Saloon. Good inner wings and underbonnet area. Original floors, sills, arches. Really good underneath. Only bit thats ever been touched is the spare wheel well which has had a poor repair and needs redone. Otherwise a very good shell for a 45 year old Granada. Underneath will need a good wire brush and some protection before you introduce it to the fine Uk weather. Paintwork is ok and perfectly useable but defo not show material. Evidence of a bit of filler in lower back panel but rest of the car is good as we checked it with our trusty magnet. Both rear quarter body side trims are missing. Some of the front trims round the headlight and wing are a bit bruised.

 

Mechanics - Good 3.0 lump which fires up no problem. Sounds really good with no smoke or nasty rattles. We have driven it round the industrial estate and the autobox seems fine. Brakes feel ok. Car has been sitting for a while so will need afull checkover before you think your the Sweeney on your local back road.

 

Interior - All there but scruffy and well worn. Couple of cracks on dash and steering wheel. Seats are worn through. Door cards are grubby but all there. Headlining looks ok, Interior light is missing

 

Wheels - Standard steels with original trims . Two tyres are decent , 1 is just legal and the other is balder than me..

 

Really good shell for someone that maybe has a rotter with good trim. Please feel free to come and see it. We have  a ramp if required to look underneath Delivery can be arranged if required . Please ask for a quote
