Ford Escort MK2 RS1800 Replica with cosworth engine running approx 350 bhp. This is a UK car. Very quick well built car which has had fortunes spent on it. Goes as good as it looks.This car is not cheap but is probably still cheaper than building one to this spec these days. Started life as a standard car which is whats on V5



Body - Built from strong original shell which is still on its original wings, front panel, inner wings, floors sills etc..Car has been strengthened with group 4 plates under the bonnet and on chassis, extra chassis skids fitted like RS models.Tunnel modified to take T5 cosworth gearbox. Otherwise it doesnt look to have had much, if any repair work done. Painted in diamond white with RS 1800 decals . Has the opening quarter windows which are in good working order similar to genuine car. Stone chipped and body colour underneath. Car is very straight along the side with good panel gaps. Rs rubber boot spoiler, Rs mirrors, upgraded headlights. F.O.R.D grille



Mechanics - YB Cosworth engine running a T34 turbo, dark green injectors, 3 bar map sensor and _31 actuator. It has the uprated alloy rad with larger intercooler. Power is approx 350 bhp. Engine is sitting on a world cup x member, solid mounts. Front anti roll bar is rose jointed adjustable . adjustable track control arms and been fitted with compression strut kit. Front struts are tarmac large insert big bilstein with 400 lb springs. Hubs are alloy big bearing..The calipers are willwood with x drilled discs . The T5 gearbox is supported by vibratec centre mount. .The car has a full stainless steel exhaust .Rear end is English axle that is 5 linked and running a quaiffe diff. Axle has been converted to rear discs and cosworth calipers .the rear shocks are tarmac bilstein turreted. .Boot is fitted with alloy tank and uprated fuel pump and filters..Original handbrake but been converted to fly off brakes are adjustable bias pedalbox with dash mount. goodridge hoses .the steering is quick rack with professional electric steering kit with adjustable dash mount. Adjustable electric fan



Interior - Roll top seats which have been retrimmed and also rear seat retrimmed. Safety devices half roll cage bolted in. Ford motorsport steering wheel with RS dash. . Mobile phone chargers built into gloves box and usb stereo with custom speakers in back .
