Ford Escort MK1 Cosworth, built on a very clean 69 super shell. Fortunes spent. I dont think you could build this car for the asking price as good donor cars are becoming rare and very expensive....then add on all the bits, fabrication, paint etc. There is a folder with the car with about 30k worth of receipts. The current owner has spent 6k alone fixing minor leaks and mechanical bits he wasnt happy with. The car has done 2400 miles since being built in about 2007. There are a few minor blemishes starting to appear on the paint but overall a very good looking well sorted bit of kit.
Body - 69 Super shell early type shell with the locks in the handles. It is the original shell and correct for this year of car. When this car was built they must have started with a very clean shell as it still has its original spare wheels and tank wells, sills etc. Apart from the modifications it looks solid and original underneath. Its been bubble arched (fibreglass) big tunnel, five linked at the rear. Paint is Le mans green with Mexico decals on it. Paintwork is lovely and gaps in the main are good and doors fit the apertures properly. There are a couple of minor bubbles starting to appear on door bottoms, corner of nsf wing. These are pretty minor as overall the car is a seriously good looking car.One off custom bumpers.Front CIBIE spotlights 2up and 2 down
