1985 Ford Escort Bantam Pickup. This is a genuine Ford Built Bantam pickup based on the Mk3 Escort and was only available in South Afriac. Its RHD and has recently been imported. All tax and duty has been paid and the NOVA registration has been done. We will assist you with the paperwork for the UK registration. 

 

Body - Ford built  Bnatam pickup. Very solid having spent its life in sunny south Africa. Good battery tray, inner wings, rear bed, doors, sills. Pretty much solid everywhere. Paint is ok but a bit worn as this was a working truck. Lower front panel will definitely need paint tidied up. Perfectly useable as it is but if you wanted a show car it would need a paint.

 

Mechanics - 1600 CVH. Car starts , runs and drives and sounds decent. All standard suspension and drivetrain. As with any old car will need a good checkover before blasting down the local B Road.

 

Interior - Dash has cracked with the heat and been repaired badly. This is the hard type dash so fairly easily loacted. Seats are useable but a bit worn as are door cards.

 

Wheels - Mint 7 Spoke 14" RS wheels with good tyres.
