Genuine UK 1600 Sport in Salmon Pink fitted with 2.0 Zetec on throttle bodies, 5 speed box and so on. This car was built a while ago and can be used as it is but could do with a bit tidying up here and there. Genuine UK sports are pretty rare and this is the first one Ive been offered in years. We have the V5 Here and a few old MOTs. Looking at the paperwork the car was probably last on the road about 2016. It starts runs and drives

 

Body - UK 1600 sport shell. Good inner wings strut tops, sills. Boot floor is really clean. Vinyl roof and webasto roof fitted. Car will need minor bits sorting on rear arches. Bottoms of both doors need attention. NSR quarter under the window has bubbled. Paintwork is perfectly useable but if your tidying the car up then Im guessing youll update that as well. Mexico front spoiler, rubber boot spoiler, small crack in windscreen. Floors have had a few repairs in the past. Looks pretty solid but might need attention on inner sill behind drivers seat. Looks a bit thin.

 

Mechanics - 2.0 Silvertop zetec which was rebuilt in 2016. Theres a receipt for the rebuild and other work done to the car for 6K. Its running throttle bodies, has a 5 speed box, quaife LSD, bilstein front struts, vented discs 2.8 capri calipers, single leaf rear springs, lowering blocks, gaz adjustable rear shocks, line lock. Theres been a right few quid thrown at this over the years.

 

Interior - Stripped out with roll cage, cobra bucket seats (not bolted in as cant find the brackets) switch panel, sport clocks, dashtop has a few cracks, Aluminium door cards, firewalled.

 

Wheels - Revolution imitation split rims with good 185/60/13 tyres. Lacquer on wheel rims is tarnished and wheels would need a refurb to make mint again.

 

This car needs a wee bit love to bring it back up to scratch but theres fortunes worth of bits on it and its a great starting point. Please feel free to come and see the car. We have a ramp so you can look underneath.  Delivery can be arranged if required. Please ask for a quote.
