Body - Cortina Bakkie as they are known in South Africa. looks like all original panels. Extremely solid and unwelded underneath. Good inner wings, chassis, floors, doors, bonnet and rear tub. Paintwork is tidy for a truck. Its no show winner but perfectly presentable.The 2 tone colour scheme is how they came and with the uprated interior they were called the Leisure bakkie.

 

Mechanics - Very quiet 3.0 V6 engine, 5 speed box. good brakes, clutch. Runs and drives very well. Awesome exhaust note. No nasty clunks or rattles. Feel very tight for a 40 year old pickup.

 

Interior - Original "Leisure" trim similar to escort sport pattern. No rips or tears. Very tidy inside and needs nothing doing.

 

Wheels - Original steels with commercial tyres.
