Mk3 Cortina 1.6 XL with only 31000 miles from new. Been in storage for many years . Was first registered in Edinburgh in 1975 by Heron Motor Company. Had very little use and was stored until the original owner passed away. We do not have the V5 as it was lost and will need applied for. The car itself is very good underneath and everything is there but it will need restored.
Body - All original panels and paint but needing some love. Underneath is very good with only some minor rust where sills meet the floor. Might be surface only but not poked too hard. In the boot and under the bonnet are very good and solid. Will need work on wings, door bottoms. All sills are good. Rear arches are good. The front scuttle panel is the worst as this has had water dripping on it whilst in storage and will need fully replaced. Paint is obviusly well worn and will need redone
Interior - All original and in very good order . Just needs a good clean up.
Mechanics - All totally standard as it left the factory. we have not attempted to start this as the cam belt is old as the hills and it would be best to replace it before trying to start up. the engine turns by hand
