Body - Best Anglia shell i have seen. Its superb and very strong and original underneath with absolutely no signs of rot. This car was put off the road a long time ago as it had an engine fire and was subject to an insurance claim. The car was restored using brand new ford wings and bonnet and we have a photographic record of the restoration. The paintwork is superb inside and out and panel gaps are excellent. The brightwork is all good and clean. Bumpers and grille are nice and straight. The photos dont do it justice it needs to be seen in the flesh.

 

Mechanics - All standard with endless new parts fitted or refurbished. Runs perfect. Very quiet. Goods brakes and clutch. Car has current MOT till 8 Jul 2019 and is not hiding under the banner of MOT exempt. 

 

Interior - All standard again and the seats and doorcards appear to be the originals. Very clean and tidy . The last owner tells me the carpet set was the only addition as originally the car would have had a rubber mat. 

 

Wheels - Standard steel with chrome hub caps and trim rings. Good tyres.

 

This car is not cheap but it will definitely stand out from most others. It was subject to an insurance claim as previously mentioned. If this concerns you then its maybe not for you. Personally i take the car at face value as its over 50 years old. Theres not many 50 plus cars that dont have a story to tell. I would rather have this when i know the history than one that i dont .
